What does Sydney Asbestos Quotes do?
We are a free referral service. You tell us about the asbestos job, and we pass it to an independent removalist who services your area and says they hold a current SafeWork NSW licence. We do not remove asbestos ourselves.
Do I need a licensed removalist?
Under NSW rules, more than 10 m² of non-friable (bonded) asbestos needs a Class B licensed removalist, and any amount of friable asbestos needs a Class A licensed removalist. SafeWork NSW recommends a licensed professional for any amount (SafeWork NSW).
Is it free?
Yes, it's free for property owners. Removalists may pay us a referral fee.
How do I check a removalist's licence?
Ask for their licence number and check it with SafeWork NSW. See Find a licensed asbestos removalist.
Sydney Asbestos Quotes is a free referral service. We are not an asbestos removalist and we do not hold an asbestos removal licence. We pass your request to independent removalists who say they hold a current SafeWork NSW licence, and you should always check a removalist's licence yourself before you engage them. Nothing on this site is safety or legal advice; see SafeWork NSW.
